Your Dietitian: Rosita Pakrou-Farmer
Hi, my name is Rosita. I am an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from Flinders University. I am passionate about using the Fresh Nutrition ‘non-dieting’ approach toward healthy weight management with people.
I focus on nourishing and fostering positive health habits at any body shape and size including practicing self-care and mindfulness when it comes to food. I am also passionate and experienced in Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease and help people to strive toward self-management of these.
I come from a Persian background (and am fluent in Persian and Dari) and understand the importance of cultural food preferences and practices. I am compassionate, supportive, and realistic.
Away from this, I am usually bike riding or bush walking with family or of course enjoying my gardening.
